New opportunities for European steel industries in automotive and components production

Giovanni’s presentation will focus on the opportunities presented to European steelmakers following the adoption by the European Commission of a legislative proposal to increase demand for low-carbon, European-made technologies and products. The Industrial Accelerator Act is designed to boost manufacturing, grow businesses and create jobs in the European Union. The presentation will also examine new green steel opportunities open to European producers under the European Commission’s new vision for industry. He will also discuss CBAM and safeguarding measures and a drive towards a policy of ‘Made in Europe’.
